This paper investigates the relationship between human capital, social capital and organisational performance. We will explore how human capital is embedded in a rich network of social connections, and how these connections can be facilitated and nurtured. Based on these findings, this paper explores specific HRD interventions to stimulate social connections that fuel knowledge productivity.
