Kessels & Smit, The Learning Company, Kessels & Smit, The Learning Company, was founded in The Netherlands in 1976 by Joseph Kessels and Cora Smit, and is an international network of more than 40 professionals with a passion for learning and development. In Johannesburg & Cape Town we have established a South African branch of our company. This venture is rooted in the shared international values and principles of Kessels & Smit, but is firmly rooted in the South African context.

We work in South Africa with a wide range of organisations and people in different sectors on mutual learning opportunities of benefit to ourselves and our clients.  The South African workplace presents unique and exciting opportunities to work and learn with issues of diversity, networking and culture in organisations, as well as presenting challenging opportunities to work in the context of HIV and the huge need for skills development in our country.  Our approaches are grounded in an appreciative way of working and helping people to work and learn together.
