In 2003, Luk Dewulf starts up Kessels & Smit in Belgium. Together with four enthusiastic partners: Lieve Scheepers, Katrien Massa, Luc Verheijen and Sabine van de Velde. After five years, in 2008, Bert Smits and Philippe Bailleur join the group.
Kessels & Smit Belgium is now an active partner in the international network. The Flemish consultants, who also work in the Netherlands on a regular basis, seek ways to connect learning, sustainable change and societal impact. Designing and facilitating learning processes and consultancies on learning and change are important topics in their work. Appreciative Inquiry is a great source of inspiration, as a way of dealing with change that begins with strengths and the opportunities that lie within the system to work on difficult challenges.
The Kessels & Smit consultants work from different locations in the Flemish region. Their office is their meeting place - located in the beautiful town of Ghent.
